Pool Closings:

There is no right or wrong way to close a pool for the winter.  Choose which is for you and your family.  We specialize in algae prevention and removal.  It is recommended that a pool close after the tempuratures average below 50ºF, and open/balance before averaging above 50ºF regardless of the type of close.

Full Pool Close ($325) includes: a vacuum of the pool to clear out debris, clean the skimmers and baskets, winterization chemicals, clear all water from pool liners, disassemble and clean D.E. filter, clean pump and basket, clean salt cell, and install cover.
   Pro - Your equipment gets a break and so does your electric bill.
   Con - If you have a mesh cover you need to open in early March.  With a solid cover you can open at your leisure.

Partial Pool Close
($125) includes: cleaning the pool of debris, vacuum if necessary, cleaning the baskets, backwash / recharge filter, winterization chemicals, reset times on salt system, test and balance water,and install cover.
   Pro - Less likely to contract alage and keeps winter debris out.
   Con - You still have to check your water levels and keep a watch of your equipment pad.

Open Pool Close/Chemical Close
($65): includes - winterization chemicals, visual inspection of equipment, and set up the salt system for the winter, test and balance water.*
   Pro - You will have a beautiful pool to look at all winter.
   Con - You will need to maintain your pool during the winter i.e. clean it, backwash, etc.

* Chemicals needed are extra.

Pool Openings: Recommend open time is March 1st to avoid algae blooms for mesh covers and chemical closes.

Full Opening ($275): includes - cover removal, vacuum of the floor, scrubbing the walls, greasing the gaskets, filter charge, system start up, test and balance water.  If opening with alage, the opening includes 3 hours of labor, if more time is need to clear or additional vacuums, there is an increased cost of $65 an hour to clarity and balance.  All pool chemicals are sold/billed by the pound and are not included in the opening price.
Partial Opening ($105) includes: cover removal, vacuum of the floor if needed, grease the gaskets, backwash/recharge of filter if needed, test and balance water.  Chemicals needed to bring water into balance are not included in the opening price.  Chemicals are sold/billed by the pound.
